Northern Lights Tour

No one can promise that, and we won’t. The aurora depends on solar activity and on clear, dark sky — both change by the hour. What we control is the effort: leaving the town’s light behind and going where the sky looks most promising that night. No aurora captured by our guide’s camera during your tour? We refund your tour payment in full. You can also book a tour for the following evening at the same package price, subject to availability — that is a separate, paid booking.

With a pickup from where you’re staying in the Rovaniemi area. Add your accommodation when you book and we’ll confirm the pickup time with your reservation.

From €65 per person. Shared seats are priced per person; private tours per car or van. Your total is shown in the booking form before you send anything.

The aurora season in Lapland runs from roughly late August to early April, when the nights are dark enough. Within the season it comes down to solar activity and clear sky on the night itself — which is why a spare evening in your trip is worth having.

Dress for standing still outdoors on an Arctic winter night: warm layers, insulated boots, a hat and proper gloves. If you’re unsure about clothing, mention it in your booking notes and we’ll advise.

Yes. Tell us how many of you there are — and the ages of any children — in the booking form, and we’ll plan the vehicle and the evening around your group.
